After three months of being the Operations Officer of security, I have come to the realization that I can not properly lead without a major revision to almost every policy that security has. To that End, I can not unilaterally make sweeping changes to Security policy, So the following Options will be put to a vote:
OPTION One: All Security Operations Teams, Documents, Policies and Procedures, Including those in other (Non Security Developed) SOP's will be considered Null and Void. A new SOP would be developed based on current IGAIR manning capabilities, and Current SC development.
OPTION Two: The Marshal Service and Flight Escort Service, Along with associated policies are retained, All other policies, procedures and Operations will be Changed, Updated or removed on a Case By Case Basis.
OPTION Three: All IGAIR Security Personal would be Merged into one group, Policies and procedures and Operations will be Changed, Updated or removed on a Case By Case Basis.
OPTION Four: No Changes to Major services. Policies and procedures and Operations will go through Review over the coarse of the 3.X period of SC Development.
Voting Will Be open through 2359 EST, Friday February 16th. At that point, the option with the most votes will be chosen.
Although This vote is intended for Security Members, I Invite All IGAIR Members to Weigh in and vote as well, As these Change will ultimately affect how the security Department is Able to Defend IGAIR. All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.
I'm a bit out of touch given my long LoA, but I noticed a few things in your message that gives me concern.
I had already voted before the poll closed, so consider most of these thoughts more pertinent to the content of this post than anything else. If you really want to know which vote was mine, you've got the email addresses.

This is a statement that brings some concern given my, uh, extended absence. Not to mention that the entirety of the poll revolves around the redoing of years of work (that's not a first for IGAIR, but still...), it feels like your asking people to make a statement on something they may have no knowledge or information on.
It's kinda like asking if you prefer option A over option B without knowing really what option B is, aside from it being different. Is there some kind of direction change that needs to be done? Are you dealing with organizational issues? Given the content of the post, I would assume the latter - but its very ambiguous to the uninitiated. Not to mention the source of the issue is not even mentioned, making it even more of a shot in the dark.
Just saying your kinda asking what color mystery meat I want on my used-to-be-plain-jane hamburger.

So long as I'm not out filing insurance claims a little too often for one of IGAIR's (or my own) ship when we're out doing stuff, I'm happy.
