I've had a random idea that we could possibly use to get our name out there, and get used to doing transit-stuff. We could run shuttle flights from Port Olisar to Lorville (once Lorville is actually in the game obviously), and we could advertise ourselves in the process.
The plan would involve two or three of us crewing an Andromeda (or something else that's currently flyable that can be used as passenger transport), and we post announcements in the local chat saying "IGAIR flight 197 to Lorville departing in X minutes" or something, and anyone who wants to can get on board, and we run it like an actual airline flight with passenger announcements and everything, and basically spend however long we want to just flying people backwards and forwards between the two landing zones.
It's really just a way to get us doing stuff in game, and give us Transit guys sth to do while we wait for passenger missions to be a thing, as well as get our name out there - there may well be players who would be happy to have a free ride. Just an idea.
Well, I like the idea too. Since I do some movie editing for my flight sim, I could at least offer the post processing software and my rather humble processing skills.
Concerning recording movies I can recommend OBS studio. It is a great software for recording and streaming. It is freeware. So everyone can use it and will have few costs.
Concerning post post processing... I have a wondershare filmora for that. You can add music, prologues, epilogues, graphics and subtitle to a movie. It is payware. But as said, I have an annual license. So I could take care of the job.
I've just been testing the whole long-distance-travel thing... it took about 15 minutes to quantum jump from Delamar to Arccorp in my Aurora.
Right now, though, there's no reason to do so because there's nothing there (not even a planet!), and no way to refuel, so unless the ship has fuel for the return journey, you're stuck. But when they add stuff at Hurston (including a place to refuel), this should be workable. We just need to decide on a ship, crew, and times (could even run a few trips if enough people want to get in on it).
Gentlemen, if you want to travel to Hurston and Lorville... As far as I have heard, 3.35 should have been implemented on the PTU Servers... Finally something more to see. And sadly, the complete rest of my week is scheduled with family issues. Sighs.
